Formed in January 2007, the
club's objective is to bring MG fanatics in the Northants, Bucks (including
Milton Keynes), Beds and Oxon areas together to share their enthusiasm at local
meetings, offer technical assistance and to be involved with many events and
activities throughout the year.
Although an independent group, we
are affiliated to the MG Car Club's
MGF Register and
ZR-ZS-ZT Register
and to the
MG Owners' Club,
the world's largest single marque car club. We welcome other MG models, modern
and classic, and a few cousins from the Longbridge stable to come along and join
in. In fact, you don't even have to own one of these cars to join us... A keen
interest is more than enough!
We have regular monthly pub meetings around the region and 'local' runs and
meetings too. We also attend many national and international events throughout
the active season. Please check the

Gathering with like-minded enthusiasts is definitely the best way to get the
most out of your interest in the MG marque. We truly believe in the slogan used
for many years by MG fans all over the world...

Joining is FREE for basic membership and although we are affiliated to the
MG Car Club and
MG Owners' Club, you don't have to be in either to come along. We
do encourage membership of either or both of these clubs for the many benefits
they offer.
We use both this website and our popular
forum to bring
you all the latest from the MG world in your area. Southmids Sportsters is run
on an entirely voluntary basis.
